I have been using the Bar Beverage Control Inventory System for over three years now and find it extremely helpful in maintaining an accurate watch over liquor costs, which consequently creates a good working environment for our bartenders and a pleasurable place for our customers to drink.
With the BBC Inventory System, each bartender is held accountable for what he or she sold and poured for each shift. This is done without creating an atmosphere of distrust between the manager and staff. I do not have to be there when a person is working, keeping an eye on everything they do.
In addition, the BBC system works without creating a stale, restrictive bartender environment. The bartenders are still pouring the drinks from standard pourers directly from the bottles, not from some automated contraption on the bar gun, which I know the customers appreciate, since many of the customers enjoy watching the process of how their drinks are made.
Because BBC controls our costs, we are able to have very reasonable, inexpensive prices, which the customers obviously appreciate, too.
Using Bar Beverage Control is a simple way to make my job easier and I would recommend it to any bar owner or manager who is looking for an effective and accurate inventory system.
